First ideas
(These are the first rough ideas, let's see how far we get ;) )
I was thinking about a new contest/competition.
Think about your favourite movie scene. Got it? Do you know the lines? Ok, here we go:
Now pick your mobile or another camera and play your favourite movie scene by yourself and record it.
After that you can edit it (or not) and upload it. (Don't know where, maybe we'll get a solution for that)
Others can rate your movie scene.
If you got the most rates you'll win something (Hmm, what could this be...)
I'd like to mention that I first of all thought about people who have no professional education as actor/actress.
There could be different categories: male/female, playback/original voice, best performance and many more...
Why
For fun.
To discover unknown talent.
To bring new faces to the screen.
Maybe we can develop this thing together...
I think it's a great idea! I'll definitely get involved. What a great way to get the community together for a bit of fun and in the meantime, I'm sure everyone will have something to learn - at the very least to know what the actors go through. Yes, count me in! xo

Fun idea, Jessi. During our crowd funding campaign for TILT, we re-enacted movie scenes for contributors who pitched in $250 or more. Here are a couple of our scenes:
